In May 20th, Vice Premier Wang Yang inspected Beijing Pinggu international inland port, the international express supervision center of Tianzhu Free Trade Zone, etc., and chaired a symposium to listen to the comments and suggestions of Beijing and relevant foreign trade enterprises. He stressed that the key whether the policies supporting the development of foreign trade would work lied in doing a good job of implementation. All relevant departments of different regions should go into action as soon as possible, hurry up to make specific work programs, define the schedule and make sure that all central policies and measures are put in place, and make great efforts to realize the annual growth goals of imports and exports.

Wang Yang pointed out that adjusting the structure and promoting the transformation was the fundamental way out for keeping steady development of foreign trade. He spoke highly of the achievements of the foreign trade structural adjustment of Beijing and asked Beijing government to base on its own advantages, enlarge and strengthen the service trade, actively develop the cross-border e-commerce, support enterprises to cultivate brands and overseas sales networks, continue to lead in promoting the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade and explore reproducible and propagable experiences.

Wang Yang stressed that business environment was an important content of the soft power of economic and it was also an important safeguard of foreign trade competitiveness of a country or a region. He requested the relevant departments to make great efforts to build internationalized and law-ruled business environment and to cultivate new competitive advantages of foreign trade. They should focus on transforming the function of the government, innovating the supervising pattern and strengthening the coordination among departments, accelerate the integration of regional clearance and the paperless clearance procedures, standardize the operational service and charge in imports and exports, improve the level of trade facilitation and reduce the the burden of enterprises.
