On July 15, the “Quan’ai Public Welfare Summer Camp” organized by Shanghai Quan'ai Public Welfare Foundation was opened concurrently in Luoning County, Ruyang County and Yichuan County, Luoyang City, Henan Province. On July 20, Mr. Mei Zhiming, CEO and co-founder of GLP, went to Yichuan County to watch the rehearsal of the children and interacted with them.

 

 

Shanghai Quan’ai Public Welfare Foundation is a non-profit organization initiated by GLP for the purpose of providing music and English learning opportunities to school children in poor and remote areas and help children cultivate self-confidence and develop skills. Currently, Quan’ai project has established a group of project schools in remote areas including Ningxia, Henan, Guangxi, Shandong and Guizhou provinces, and established cooperative relationship with Luoyang Normal University, Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology, Shandong Heze Normal University, Qiannan Normal University for Nationalities and many other higher education institutions. At present, there are full-time music teachers in 29 Quan’ai Project schools and full-time internship English teachers in 13 schools. The Quan’ai Project has expanded from 1,000 students, 6 project schools in September 2014 to 8,000 students, 30 project schools in March 2017.
Chen Guirong, an employee of the Corporate Development Department of Airport City Development Co., Ltd., participated in the summer camp of Luoning County as a volunteer.
