The Beijing Airport City Logistic Park is located on the northern extension line of the second Runway of the Beijing Capital Airport, which is directly adjacent to the apron, realizing the seamless connection between air freight terminal and functional logistics zone so that the customs clearance efficiency is improved. The project covers an area of 3,178 mu. Up to 2014, the total constructed area was 562,000 m² and customers operating in the park accounted for almost 200. ACLP includes eight functional zones such as International Airfreight Station, Domestic Airfreight Station, International Express Center, Custom Supervision Area for Import and Export Cargo, Bonded Functional Zone, ACL Logistic Park, Office Complex and Business Complex.
As the core of Beijing Tianzhu Free Trade Zone, ACLP regulates and optimizes procedures through effective coordination of customs, quarantines, taxes, foreign exchanges, airports, airlines, banks, port management departments, service agencies, and enterprises, thus facilitating the fast flow of cargo, document, capital and information as well as offering a good platform for business operations. Enterprises in this area improve their operation efficiency and reduce their operation costs through national preferential policies such as "imports under bond and exports receiving tax returns" as well as foreign exchange discount.
