On August 8, 2017, the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between Airport City Development Co., Ltd. and the Management Committee of Shijiazhuang Free Trade Zone was held in Shijiazhuang Free Trade Zone. Hu Tianmu, Managing Director of ACL, and Wu Fei, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Shijiazhuang Free Trade Zone, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective party.

Under the background of the coordinated development strategy of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Shijiazhuang Free Trade Zone is positioned as the pioneer zone for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Trade & Logistics Base and the industrial cooperation, becoming the new engine for Shijiazhuang industrial upgrading. As a development and operation operator of Air Cargo Customs Clearance Base of Capital Airport, ACL has accumulated rich practical experience in planning, development, construction and operation of aviation logistics industrial park. In recent years, the Company has implemented in succession the development planning of Harbin and Changchun Airport Economic Zones as well as air cargo planning projects in Nanning Wuxu International Airport, Chengdu Tianfu Airport and Beijing New Airport, having laid a good foundation for this cooperation.

Starting with the customs clearance project of Shijiazhuang Free Trade Zone and the aviation logistics park development planning project, ACL will put forward a comprehensive solution to the strategic positioning, industrial planning, functional layout, multimodal transport and other aspects of the customs clearance project in Shijiazhuang Free Trade Zone. After completing the preliminary planning, the two sides will sign an investment framework agreement and conduct comprehensive cooperation in land development, construction, investment promotion and operation management in the comprehensive bonded zone.
